Bought the sofabed for our spare room and it looks stylish and is very sturdy. (see photo). Had some issues with delivery as delivery man said it was doorstep delivery only. When I complained that I paid £50 for delivery and thought it was going to be taken up 12 stairs to my flat and into the bedroom he relented and managed to get it to the top of the stairs (but not into the flat). There really should have been 2 delivery men for a 45kg package. I (64yrs old), then dragged it into the flat and into the spare room. Set up instructions were simple and easy to follow, which I did myself. When set up as a sofa, the seat cushion is quite hard, so wouldn't want to sit on it for too long. (I've now covered it with a fur throw). I haven't used it as a bed yet, but as the cushion is quite firm, I will buy a mattress topper for when it is used to make it softer. The sofa does look stylish and it is very sturdy and easy to change from a sofa to a bed. I like the storage area where I have put the duvet and pillows whilst not in use. Only used one cushion as didn't really want to have the one that said 'Autumn Sale' on it???

Sofa bed came in easy to assemble parts. Will say it was part-assembled, had to put the armrests, the chassis support and backrest together. The mattress is extra firm as it is 10cm, hence, it makes it more comfortable and easy to use in bed position compared to the sofa position. I guess it only reclines forward a bit in sofa position due to the thickness of the mattress. The sofa bed is also very sturdy as it weighs about 42-45kg. And the wide storage will free my space alot of other things i kept around so i can keep them in the storage. it's a value for the price i must say

We ordered this because of the promised dimensions - it is supposed to be longer than many sofa-beds and our guests need the extra length. It arrived, we put it together same-day, and could immediately see that it was shorter than promised - only 180cm mattress, not 190cm. I contacted the supplier thinking they had sent the wrong item but they were insistent that it matches the description (see attached pictures - it just doesn't!) After various messages in which Seller basically said I was lying, & intervention from Amazon, the seller arranged for collection. However they sent a 1-man van to collect a heavy item that had taken 2 men to deliver! (Fortunately my husband was in and able to assist but there is no way it could have been managed by one person.) They have now refunded the cost of the product but not the delivery costs (£50). I am pursuing this through Amazon because this is the supplier's fault and it is outrageous that they are trying to put the blame onto the customer. In the interests of balance, the sofa-bed itself is a clever design & seemed reasonably made. Instructions were poor but the item wasn't difficult to put together if you're reasonably handy. If it had been the promised dimensions it would have been just what we wanted. The "headboard" is 2cm thick and the mattress is 180cm long. So if you are 180cm tall, with your head right against the headboard, your heels will be at the end of the mattress. That would be OK for some people but it wasn't for us. However dealing with this supplier has been dreadful & stressful given the costs involved. I am very glad we ordered through Amazon & were able to access their support.

The sofa/bed is good quality in general, and of good value if you want to get a sofa that can be used as a bed now and then (I would not recommend it the other way around). Technical point of view: The instructions are simple enough, but assembling the sofa requires two people to put it all together easily (I imagine one person could do it, but it would not be easy). The mattress is between a double and a queen in length (143 cm) but shorter than a regular mattress (180 cm). Also, the mattress is quite thin but firm (not too soft), so it is comfortable; you don’t feel the structures below it. The materials are solid and firm enough to work as a proper guest bed. When converted into a bed, it is significantly lower than a regular bed (35 cm), which I don’t see as a big problem, but keep it in mind. The extra space below the matres is a proper “chest” of 15x105 cm. Easy to access it while it is used as a bed, but not as easy when it is used as a sofa. Usability: The bed is comfortable. I had some visits for a few days, and they were quite happy with the quality of the bed. It is easy to convert from sofa to bed and vice versa but requires certain strength. To turn it into a sofa, you must lift the centre of the bed while pushing. It is a good sofa when used as such. General comments: It is more expensive than other options, but it works very well as a sofa and a bed, which is not true for other cheaper options. So, I would recommend this item. It is a nice and comfortable piece of furniture that is not bulky.

It exceeded my expectations by being very comfortable (it's not too soft and not too hard) Extremely easy to assemble, easy to put in both positions quickly.
