Beautiful unit, unfortunately, the “medullary rays” (or “specks”) in the timber are bad. The photos look better than the baked eye. You’d expect some but for the size of the unit, they’re too visible. They told me they’re to be expected but I said this should be set out clearly in the sales blurb but it’s not. Whilst I think it’s misleading to not share defects, they disagreed - suggesting what do we expect!! They told me to google MRs as the link they sent was broken. This info should ALSO be in the product info. They did offer a refund but for the hassle, we’re paying for it to be improved. It’s not a low cost piece either so we’re really disappointed. Amazon are usually great 😕
