The parts are superbly packaged and numbered making assembly so much easier. I’m pretty proficient with DIY and this was a doddle. It took about an hour to assemble so set aside some time. Some of the reviews refer to poor quality fixings - don’t over-tighten and it will be fine. Regarding the wall fitting, measure twice, drill once. Use the template but check before you drill. I was a few cms higher than anticipated so a final check will work wonders. Superb!

The media could not be loaded. This is a strong and spacious cabinet, i used mine for all my nails products and beauty supplies, its a good size with lots of storage space its easy to close and can take a little while to set up but it is worth it! I have had no issues with the item and it looks great does not take up any space and i am happy with my purchase.

Good quality, a little fiddly to put together but worth the effort. The instructions are small , making them difficult to see the finer detail. I ended up taking a photo and zooming in. Details for wall hanging took a while to understand as not much description, but make sense when you work it out. The major draw back is that is feels unsafe when on the wall as it doesn't come with any bottom wall fixings, only top. We sorted that by using a standard wall bracket (think ikea and wardrobes) and it now feels secure and safe to use. The drop down door is heavy, but moves easily. Good amount of workspace, the storage is useful and its a food height to work from. Would recommend, but only if you secure the bottom. THE MANUFACTURERS NEED TO SUPPLY BOTTOM BRACKET AS I QUERY ITS SAFETY WITHOUT IT....

A couple of the fixings broke before it was finished being assembled. And then when it was finished the measurements given to hang it were wrong so we ended up with 2 extra holes in our brand new plastered room. Then one of the hinges broke. By this point we couldn’t really take it off as the wall behind would have looked awful so have carried on using it. On the plus side it’s a really clever design and very practical.

This item is poorly made, looks like it is going to need some glue to reinforce it. Other than poor quality fittings and poor construction if you are happy to reinforce it then it should be ok for the price!

We bought this desk for a family member who has just started a university course. No room in the bedroom for much else. This can be unfolded when required and simply packed away very quickly. Ideal. So why only 4 stars? Just a few suggestions for improvement. First, the instructions, whist adequate and accurate, were not printed well and it was difficult to read the height figures for the wall holes. Also, instructions should say whether the measurements up the wall are for the holes or the top of the bracket. Final suggestion for improvement, there is nothing in the package to hide the fitting holes. I covered them over with white electrical tape. Most other self-build furniture would have something tailor-made to fit into the necessary holes. The holes for the final adjustment of the unit to the wall (which contain some very clever and effective adjustment mechanisms) are quite large and spoil the look of the unit unless you cover them over. Same with the screws on the top panel. Another plus point, the essential parts, screws, dowels etc, are clearly marked and shrink-wrapped, so it's very easy to identify them. I liked that!! Overall though, quite happy with the unit. Fair price and hopefully will help with the studies. 2024 UPDATE I've changed the score on this item down to two stars. Really, quite disappointed. The original review stands, but we decided to buy another for family. Did a 'buy again' on the product, but the desk now is quite inferior to the one bought in 2020. They no longer offer this in pure white, we have to put up with a blackboard-style facing. Not particularly smart, but I've fixed that by gluing some white hardboard onto the front. Just a matter of choice and doesn't affect the score. But what DOES bring the score down is that the desk is nowhere near as well made as in 2020. Most importantly, the wall fixing is just two ordinary screws. Previously I commented on how clever the fixing adjustments were, now there's no adjustment possible. Just two screws at the top and none at the bottom. Also (as someone else has mentioned) parts were incorrect and there was a big delay in getting them replaced. Overall the desk is certainly not the same quality as before - it's even a different size!! (So, not really the same product, despite being offered to 'buy again'). I certainly wouldn't buy this desk again.
