I’d read reviews about it staining and bad fishy smells which put me off. So glad I bought it, it’s solid and easy to assemble. No smell at all and the top is not a paper veneer as I’d been led to believe by a review. It looks so good in the kitchen and has saved so much space, with its dimensions and stools tucking in underneath table. Everyone loves it, it arrived in 3 boxes very protectively packaged. I’m so glad I bought it.

The media could not be loaded. This is a very solid table and will stand the test of time.. it’s not at all cheap and goes to together well… but it’s a little bit fiddly. When working alone. The only downside is that it’s covered in a veneer sheet which looks ok but I’m not sure how durable it will be .. for scratches and stuff.. is it worth £250 may be not but if it fits your needs then it will be worth it to get what you want. ..great space saving table and chairs that looks and feels expensive.. ..

I bought this dinning set in September 2023 and all the stools was broken beyond repair within a month. It is not strong, it is not good for children and the wood is too soft. I first bought the one with storage and something happened and I thought buying without storage will be better but worse. Table is strong but stools don't last long. I had to buy another set of 4 chairs to use with the table.

A heavy solid item, perfect for a small space and not wanting anything bulky. My children sit at the table well and it’s a good height for adults too. I did find in places the veneer was a bit untidy and am hoping it won’t peel off over time! Wipes over well with a damp cloth. All in all a good buy but perhaps a little over priced for the quality.

This table is great to look at, great in size and very stable. However the smell of the seats, it’s unbearable. Smells like rotten fish mixed with urine. Took me ages to work out where the smell was coming from, it literally stunk the whole house out for months. It still stinks but now I know what it is I’m trying desperately hard to get rid of the awful smell by cleaning it daily with all sorts of cleaning products. So great set but for some reason it will stink and at this point I still don’t know if it’s going to be a fixable problem or if they will need chucking.
