Well made and finished and great value for the money. We ordered two packs just in case , from reading reviews, as the dimensions were perfect for our needs, others being too big or too small for purpose. Actually, they were both fine, though one had a pair of slightly shorter span lengths that hold the top, than the other equivalent table. They lock together with slot in joints which are braced with strong, steel brackets so no issue there. Still had holes to take the screws to join to the top anyway. As it was the smaller table, no issue with the appearance either. I would say that I was surprised that there was a grey sort of seal over the pine. As recommended by another reviewer, we waxed the table, and it being pine, it will yellow with age so I think that the appearance will be fine. We did not mind it at all. So, we got four tables for far less than the price of two elsewhere and the grain on the wood was pleasant. (Unlike some very expensive oak furniture we ordered that was like deckchair strips. All in all, neat, small tables that arrived in good condition, promptly and once improved a little with an extra coat of wax, brilliant!

After reading the existing reviews for these tables, I was quite dubious about buying them. It seemed that they would be a combination of balsa and plywood with all the aesthetic appeal of a packing crate and that Mensa membership would be required to decipher the assembly instructions. The sizes though were exactly what I needed and the price (£28) was extremely reasonable compared to similar products, so I decided to take the plunge. The tables were delivered in a compact and surprisingly heavy package. The wood is chunky, good quality solid pine. It's sanded to a fine smooth finish. It has the appearance of lightly waxed wood, though it is probably just stained. The assembly instructions are as clear as can be expected with any self-assembly furniture and the construction is so straight forward, they're not really required. The tables fit together perfectly well with dowels and screws. It took me about 10 minutes per table. They seem very sturdy, are free of any wobbliness and to my eye look really good. I'm very happy with them.

The item was delivered very quickly but the quality was atrocious. I built the smaller table according to the instructions but it was very wonky. I’ve built many flat packs over the years but this just wasn’t coming together. I was hoping that everything would line up once the table top was located. Unfortunately the table top had 4 holes and the crossmembers had 8 dowels. I removed the “extra” dowels and tried again to find that once 2 of the dowels were located the other 2 holes were way out of line. I’m wondering if their manufacturing process has changed as the older reviews were excellent. Very disappointed. On the plus side the collection and refund process were very efficient.

The tables are bigger than expected and will probably look better once waxed. These would be ideal for our purpose, however they are very wobbly so could not be dragged around for fear of the legs wobbling off. We haven't tried a power tool on the screws yet, hopefully that will make a difference.

Nice looking tables and easy to assemble the legs, BUT the top doesn’t align with the holes/screws. Currently have the top balanced on the legs till I figure out how I’m going to fix it without putting holes through it. Would recommend spending a bit more and getting something better quality. Clearly mass produce and machine has put the dowel and screw holes in the wrong place.
