When these tables were first delivered, several of the table legs were shorter than the others causing the tables to be unstable and not sit level. The legs and surfaces also had chips in that were very obvious, so I'm pretty sure the item lacks quality control of any sort. But a quick email to Amazon, they were returned and a new set sent out which were much better (sounds like a lottery based on the reviews). I've now owned these tables for two years and they've stood the test of time reasonably well. They're used quite frequently and the finish on the tables is still fairly decent. A quick wipe with a damp cloth does the job of removing most things, just make sure to spray the cloth rather than the table directly. That said, there are a few marks on the tables (very faint and only noticeable up close in direct sunlight), which were likely caused by the spray from acidic drinks being opened. Good: The tables are well packaged and simple to put together. The size of them is more than adequate, whether you're using them for display or as sofa-side tables, they do the job nicely. Bad: The edges of the tables are rounded, but not in a uniform way, so if you're a perfectionist, this will likely annoy you. The paint isn't very well done so you'll need to be careful and avoid scratching them. Overall, I think they're a decent buy for under £50. However, if you want quality tables that will last you 10 years or more, I'd spend double and get some proper oak ones.

Sturdy well protective packaging. Simple to assemble. Lovely looking when built. One screw hole was missing a locator. I used the product support Web site, sent an email and photo of the issue and a copy of the invoice. Within an hour they replied to me (Monday), and a complete new leg arrived (Wednesday). Excellent customer service. Has varied uses and perfectly functional. Definitely recommend this nest of tables.

What to say? Big table leg fixing was broken : itchy repair. Medium table the screw fitting has come out. Looks like banana tree with Mdf rails. I thought I would get a season out of it but no :( Cannot recommend Design good. But sturdiness is :((( Long levity :((( Cannot remember price but it was not cheap. I suggest packaging needs to be like Ikea, too.

Good solid tables and easy to assemble, but the wood has a very yellow finish, not at all like the images. Will be keeping them but may have to re-stain them to make them less yellow.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this, if was beautifully wrapped and was so easy to assemble - in fact I did it myself rather than wait for hubby. Light oak and it fitted in against all my other oak furniture… Delighted with this

One of the 'most helpful' comments on here implores you to ignore the negative reviews! First of all, no one is on here with a grudge against this company, making fake accounts to spam negative reviews. It's just not believable at all! I don't see much serious analysis in the 'most helpful' review either, so here's my attempt: The tops: These are real oak tops and oak is expensive. In my case, the oak was well finished with no blemishes, however, it's clear these are off cuts as, underneath, my tops had random holes drilled in them. The surface that I can see though is fine, but please bear in mind that this is where all the money goes; the oak is the most expensive part, so if it's not perfect, send it back (you can do so for free if you have Prime). Where they have (incompetently) cut corners: the legs are just the cheapest wood imaginable, the legs are really thin and even though I couldn't tell from another reviewer's pics about the bent legs, I can confirm that all the legs on these tables are wonky. I've held up a spirit level in the photo to show it clearly. The tops are surprisingly level though, so it's actually quite impressive that they've cut all the legs wonky but made them line up! This lack of attention to detail really narks me off as it is surely a factory with a semi-decent cutting machine: you just set it once and it cuts things straight, so how they've bodged this up is beyond me! Anyway, they stand up and from a distance, unless you're really looking, you can't tell the legs are wonky. The paint: Dreadful. Super thin on the smallest table and drip marks and chips on every leg. Luckily though for me, these are all on the inside, so aesthetically, the legs are fine (we're never going to use the smallest table). Assembly and packaging: Well packaged, no damage from transit and assembly is really a piece of cake: four screws per table and you get an allen key supplied. Summary: This doesn't really suit its purpose. Nest tables are never going to be functional, everyday-use items, so you're buying it mainly for aesthetic reasons. The tops are nice (in my case), but the legs are wonky, look brittle, and the paint is terrible. Other reviewers MUST be believed when there's this many negative reviews, so if you're buying for aesthetic reasons, you're stuffed if you're not lucky enough like me to get a semi-decent set. What if you get one with paint on the oak, or chips and paint drips on the outside of the legs that everyone can see? You'll either be stuck with them or have to pack it all up and return it, which is a pain. Realistically, you can't get nice oak nest tables in the UK for anything less than £90 from specialist sellers online, but these usually have free shipping, so if you really want a nice set of oak tables, wait another month and save up that extra £40 and get a set that is solid oak and then will last you a life time. If you have kids, forget these, as if they're anything like mine, even though you'll tell them a hundred times not to stand on them, they'll stand on them or knock them over and then these will BREAK! No doubt in my mind about that as the legs are cheap wood and thin. I can't recommend these, but I took the risk and got lucky, so it's up to you! EDIT: I sent them back and got a set from oak world in the UK for £90. Took two months to arrive as they are hand built to order but the difference in quality is absolutely clear.

J'ai commandé ces tables gigognes car elles m'ont plu mais je me demandais si elles allaient être à la hauteur de la photo. Et bien j'ai été agréablement surprise la qualité du bois massif est très belle. Pour le montage les explications sont très claires, une petite clé est fournie et il suffit de visser simplement les quatre pieds bien costauds à chaque plateau, eux même épais et de belle finition. Elles peuvent faire un joli chevet et à mon avis elles sont tellement solides que la plus petite peut servir de marche-pied à l'occasion. Je vous le dit vous serez agréablement surpris vu le prix!

Sur les 3 tables, 2 ne sont pas correctement finies. Sur la grande table, le système de serrage d'un pied est défectueux et le bois casse (sans avoir forcé). Sur la table moyenne, le trou pour le serrage avec la vis est décentré ce qui fait que le pied se monte de travers.
